HUNGER GAMES 30 DAY CHALLENGE - DAYS THREE, FOUR, AND FIVE!

so, i missed two days! my mom broke her toe, so i’ve been running her to the hospital/podiatrist/pharmacy/etc. for two days. i’m back, though, and doing three days of the challenge in one post! here goes.

day three - a character you hate that everyone loves.

this one is tough for me; i pretty much love and hate characters that i’m supposed to. i guess i dislike plutarch heavensbee, even though he helps with the rebellion and everything. he was the head gamemaker for the third quarter quell, which was pretty damn cruel.

day four - a character you love that everyone hates.

oh. i love love love enobaria. i think she’s so badass; razor sharp teeth plated with gold? awesome.

day five - your favorite fight/battle scene.

i love reading about the mutts and cato in the first book. i don’t know why, it’s just fun to read. (:

so this one was short. tomorrow’s will be longer!

HUNGER GAMES 30 DAY CHALLENGE - DAY TWO!

Day Two! I’m supposed to talk about my least favorite character in the series. This is also a toughie.

Obviously, like everyone else, I really hate President Snow. He’s a jerk, he’s disgusting, he’s deplorable. He’s also the main antagonist, so you’re supposed to hate him.

I can’t stand Marvel, but maybe it’s because he’s the one who killed Rue. I loved Rue.

I don’t really like Chaff. I think that we wouldn’t get along in real life, and he just rubs me the wrong way. I don’t care if Haymitch likes him.

I’m also not a fan of Mrs. Everdeen. I think she’s weak and irresponsible.

I guess that President Snow wins the prize. I can’t stand that guy.

HUNGER GAMES 30 DAY CHALLENGE - DAY ONE!

Okay, so it’s day one, and that means that I’m supposed to talk about my favorite character from the Hunger Games. That’s a really tough one.

On one hand, I want to say Katniss. I really connected with Katniss, but it seems a little boring to say that the main character of the series is my favorite.

I also really like Prim. I think that she’s adorable and tough, and her death hurt me more than any of the other deaths in the series. I cried my heart out when I realized that Prim had died, it honestly broke my heart.

Finnick is one of the most awesome characters that I’ve ever read about. He’s someone that I would adore in real life, and we would probably either be married or be best friends. It’s hard to not love Finnick. I actually really want to name my future child Finnick if I have a boy, but my boyfriend is going to take some convincing.

I really adored Rue, of course; who didn’t? She was strong, tough, vulnerable, adorable, admirable, and she died a tragic death.

I think that if I were to meet any of the characters in real life, it would have to be Cinna because he’s just so fantastic.

Overall, I guess that Finnick Odair wins my favorite character spot… but it’s a tough one.

okay, for real this time.

i miss tumblr like crazy, so i’m coming back. NO EXCUSES!

anyway. v-day is coming up, and the boy and i made each other valentine’s day coupon books (: i’m so excited to give him his, and to see what coupons he came up with for me! i’m also cooking him a dinner of heart-shaped ravioli and milk chocolate mango mousse. yum, right?

tomorrow is the family valentine’s day celebration. i’m going to see the vow with thanh, and then we’re going to dinner with my parents. my dad ordered my mom a bouquet of roses that’s going to be delivered to her office, but she doesn’t think that she’s getting anything. i can’t wait to see how excited she is! (:

right now, i’m completely obsessed with the hunger games, and i’m working on mastering the katniss braid that is being seen on the promos and in the previews. i’ll probably wear it tomorrow, it’s super cute! it’s nothing like i pictured when i was reading the book, but when is anything ever? i also think that i’m going to get some hunger games inspired jewelry from etsy, and maybe even a shirt. i’d like to go to the midnight showing, if all of the tickets aren’t sold out already!

anyway, sorry for the rant. i’m not sure who’s even still following me, but I AM BACK. <3
